About This Happy Hour Experience

This is your rare opportunity to experience the best of Yaletown like a Local! 

Through our unique social-travel experience, you will discover hidden gems across Vancouver’s Yaletown while getting socially connected with your Local Host and other guests in a fun and friendly setting. 

Your adventure will start off at David Lam Park – where your Host will get everyone acquainted before walking along the Yaletown Seawall. 

Your Host will then guide you and other guests on a scenic and social walk through the neighborhood where you’ll have the opportunity to take in everything from local shops, architecture, street art, public fixtures, and water views. 

Your walk will lead you to Yaletown Historic Warehouse District, where you’ll arrive at your final destination, a popular local restaurant where a VIP table will be reserved and a complimentary round of craft drinks (beer/wine/cocktails) will be served!*

We’ll make sure you see the best of Yaletown, enjoy great food and drinks, and meet new people including locals and fellow travelers along the way!

My girlfriend came across Getogether on Facebook and booked a few spots for us at the Brewhall Arcade Night Happy Hour. I didn't fully know what to expect, but the Getogether turned out to be great! I had a chance to have a long conversation with Matt, the Host of the Getogether, and it turns out we had a lot in common, and we were even the same age. Overall it was a great experience and the arcade games were a blast too!

I've been spending the month of December in Vancouver to get a feel for how the city compares to Victoria, and came across the opportunity to join a Getogether. This turned out to be a perfect way to meet new people and learn from new perspectives about the city. I really enjoyed the food and drink offered by LaTaqueria. The Host was also very welcoming and ensured everyone at the table connected respectfully and had a great time! I had the opportunity to attend a Sunset Happy Hour Experience at Craft English Bay, and I had a great time! The table was full of great people to cheers a drink with and we had a beautiful view of Beach Ave and the English Bay sunset! My girlfriend and I had so much fun, we stayed for a few more rounds to keep the social experience alive. The concept of Getogether is great, and if you're looking to meet new people, you can't go wrong with booking one for yourself!

I attended my first Getogether on the North Shore this summer with my husband. We really enjoyed the experience. Our Local Host was friendly and knowledgeable. He brought all the guests together in a friendly way, and together everyone clicked. We enjoyed the complimentary food and drinks, and we enjoyed the beautiful setting of Tap & Barrel at the Shipyards. As a nice bonus, our Host took as for a walk along the Shipyards Pier with 360 views of everything Vancouver and the North Shore has to offer.
