Delightful Vancouver BC English Bay Tour We enjoyed getting to know Matt as he showed us the highlights of the English Bay area of Vancouver BC. The weather was perfect and the area is beautiful. We ended our walk with a delicious craft, beer and appetizer at a local brewery with a lovely view of the waterfront. Enjoyable end to our perfect vacation tour of the Canadian Rockies.

Outstanding! I took the English Bay tour on a fall weekday. It was sunny and warm and the leaves had just turned color. 'Couldn't believe my luck... I was the only person on the tour! My personal guide took me on a leisurely stroll down a popular shopping street. He pointed out interesting stores along the way, offering to visit any one of them if I was curious. (I was particularly intrigued by the Australian Pie shop!) We visited an outdoor art exhibit. I learned about the historic Sylvia Hotel and marveled at its ivy-covered exterior. Who was Joe Forte and why is he so loved by beachgoers? Why do otherwise sane folks by the thousands come to the beach on New Years Day? These and many other questions were answered as we strolled along Vancouver's famous Seawalk. The perfect conclusion to our tour was a fine local craft beer served by a charming young woman who lived in the neighborhood and added her perspectives.

Hidden Gem Brewery + Nice Walk by Water We started the Getogether at a local brewery that I wouldn't have found on my own. Matt was very accommodating, ordering two flights of beer and two appetizers for all of us to share. After, we went on a nice walk through East Van, seeing some artsy murals on display and I got to take some aesthetic pictures. We ended by Science World, which was very beautiful by the water with a stunning view of the mountains. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Good times in East Van I really enjoyed this experience. We started out in Olympic Village and walked up the hill to Mount Pleasant. The views of the city and mountains were beautiful. It was nice to learn about some historic buildings along the Vancouver skyline. Matt also took us through some side streets that featured famous street murals. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to see the more hipster side of Vancouver and enjoy a craft beer.

Great walking tour! Matt was a great host. After a stop at a delicious local bakery, we had a lovely walk around English Bay where Matt pointed out some neighborhood highlights and answered all my questions about the area. We ended our tour with a lovely sunset at a craft brewery on the bay. Matt offered a “non-traditional” tour experience with a great social connection. What a nice way to start my week in Vancouver.
