My girlfriend came across Getogether on Facebook and booked a few spots for us at the Brewhall Arcade Night Happy Hour. I didn't fully know what to expect, but the Getogether turned out to be great! I had a chance to have a long conversation with Matt, the Host of the Getogether, and it turns out we had a lot in common, and we were even the same age. Overall it was a great experience and the arcade games were a blast too!

I've been spending the month of December in Vancouver to get a feel for how the city compares to Victoria, and came across the opportunity to join a Getogether. This turned out to be a perfect way to meet new people and learn from new perspectives about the city. I really enjoyed the food and drink offered by LaTaqueria. I had the opportunity to attend a Sunset Happy Hour Experience at Craft English Bay, and I had a great time! The table was full of great people to cheers a drink with and we had a beautiful view of Beach Ave and the English Bay sunset! I attended my first Getogether on the North Shore this summer with my husband. We really enjoyed the experience. Our Local Host was friendly and knowledgeable. He brought all the guests together in a friendly way, and together everyone clicked. We enjoyed the complimentary food and drinks, and we enjoyed the beautiful setting of Tap & Barrel at the Shipyards. As a nice bonus, our Host took as for a walk along the Shipyards Pier with 360 views of everything Vancouver and the North Shore has to offer.
